Terms of Service
Plain English, like everything else here. Last updated July 2026. Questions before buying: ask Tyler — a person answers.
The services
RankOps sells the packages described on their pages, at the prices on their pages: the Site Inspection ($99), The Fix ($997), The Build ($1,997), Monthly Maintenance ($397/mo), and the AI Citation Tracker ($29/mo). What's included is what's listed — the deliverables list on each page is the contract's scope.
Delivery clocks
The Inspection delivers within 48 hours of your intake answers. The Fix delivers within 7 days, and The Build within 14 days, of your onboarding call and access being provided. Clocks pause while we're waiting on access or approvals from you; we'll tell you when that happens.
The no-guarantee rule
We do not guarantee rankings, AI citations, traffic, or revenue — nobody controls Google's, OpenAI's, Perplexity's, or Anthropic's outputs, and anyone promising otherwise is guessing. What we guarantee is the work: the listed deliverables, built to the published method, deployed on time.
Your access, your property
You provide access to your website and business profiles; we use it only for the purchased work. Everything we build — pages, schema, content, listings — is deployed to your own site and accounts and is yours, including after cancellation. No lock-in is a term of service, not a slogan.
Subscriptions & cancellation
Monthly plans (Maintenance, Tracker) bill through Stripe until you cancel, which you can do anytime — cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period and never removes work already deployed.
Refunds
If we miss a delivery clock for reasons on our side, tell us and we'll make it right — finish it, fix it, or refund it. One-time packages already delivered aren't refundable (the work is on your site and can't be returned); subscription charges for periods where we did no work will be refunded.
Honest-inputs clause
Our work uses facts you give us (services, history, credentials). You're responsible for their accuracy; we won't knowingly publish false claims, fake reviews, or fabricated credentials for anyone — that protects your business as much as ours.
The boring-but-necessary part
Services are provided "as described"; our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim. These terms are governed by North Carolina law. If a term here is unenforceable, the rest stand. We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do. See also the privacy policy.
